Faculty of Maritime Academic Studies successfully concluded process of getting work permit – accreditation by the Ministry of education, science and technological development of Republic of Serbia. The list of employed teaching personnel includes twenty-eight teachers where three are professors, one is associate professor, seventeen are assistant professors, four are foreign language teachers, two are seafarer skills teachers and one is teaching assistant.

Ministry of Defense of Republic of Serbia gave full support for the establishment of Faculty of Maritime Academic Studies by the Human Resources department document SLJR 4841-7. For the purposes of practical training skills there are signed contracts with Center for Seafarers Belgrade, Rubikon Shipping Company and Lazarevic Toolroom.
